Becky Gans
I graduated from Fresno State in California in 2005 and started teaching at Van Buren in 2006! I taught 4th grade for 13 years and then moved to 5th. I love teaching both 4th and 5th grade. I have been married since 2008 and we have 2 awesome daughters! I love playing with Legos and building with them, I like to scrapbook for my daughters. We are active in 4-H and music is also a passion of my family.

Jenny Hartvigsen
Mrs. Hartvigen has been teaching for 6 years, all in the Caldwell School District. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, quilting, and playing games. She has been teaching 5th grade for the past 3 years and she loves every minute of it!

Spencer Jones
I started teaching and started at Van Buren in 2021. My family consists of my wife (Samantha), and three wonderful girls (my oldest is Saige, my middle one is Skyleigh, and my youngest is Soryn). My interests include watching and playing any sport activity, playing games with my family, camping, fishing. I am a huge Harry Potter and Disney fan. What I enjoy about teaching is seeing students grow and persevere. Education is tough, but I enjoy seeing a student not give up and find techniques to problem solve on their own.

Cindy Wells
I started teaching in 2003. I taught 2nd grade for 6 years and then moved to fifth. I enjoy being with my family and binge watching Netflix. Fifth graders are the best! They get my sense of humor.
