Tyler Harding
Principal
Mr. Harding has worked in the Caldwell School District since 2010. He enjoys working with the children of Caldwell and is honored to be the Principal at Van Buren Elementary. He enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors.

Lilly Navarro
Attendance Clerk
Mrs. Navarro has worked for the school district since 2006. She is married and has five children that she adores. She is their biggest advocate. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially watching her boys play baseball. She also likes going to the movies, dining out, and reading books.

Ben Jackson Instructional Coach Mr. Jackson started his teaching career as a substitute teacher for the Caldwell School District in 2008. He worked as a paraprofessional at Van Buren for a year after that before becoming a teacher in 2010. Ben taught 5th grade for 7 years and 4th grade for a year at Van Buren and now serves as the instructional coach for the building. Ben loves teaching because he like to help others. Ben is married and has four wonderful children, three dogs and a cat. He enjoys spending time with family, going up to the mountains whenever possible, fishing and golfing. |
Aly Mendiola 
School Counselor
I became the school counselor at Van Buren at the beginning of the 20-21 school year. I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. I attended undergraduate school in Moscow at the University of Idaho. After undergrad I moved home and attended graduate school at Boise State University. I currently live with my partner and our two dogs, Leo and Luna. I enjoy teaching students all about emotional regulation. It is important that children understand their feelings, how they impact their body, and how they can calm their bodies. I look forward to continuing to learn and grow with our VB students and staff.

Brittany KuhlmanSchool Nurse
I began working at Van Buren in the Health office in 2021. I've been in the medical field since 2011. I relocated from California where I studied Medical assisting and then moved on to studying Vocational Nursing. I am married and have 4 awesome kids, 3 dogs and a cat. I enjoy making others feel better. In my free time I enjoy watching my kids play their sports, Camping and Enjoying the outdoors.
